Исследование основано на анализе ключевых индикаторов, включая скорректированные сбережения от минеральной добычи, добавленную стоимость обрабатывающей промышленности, долю потребления возобновляемой энергии и объем минеральной ренты. На основе данных Всемирного банка за период 1994–2021 гг. с применением методов описательной статистики, корреляционного и регрессионного анализа, а также однофакторного дисперсионного анализа (ANOVA) оценены межстрановые различия в ресурсной зависимости, уровне индустриализации и экологической устойчивости. Результаты свидетельствуют о том, что Чили и Замбия демонстрируют высокие значения минеральной ренты и скорректированных сбережений, подтверждая модель ресурсно зависимой экономики, тогда как Кения и Ботсвана характеризуются минимальной зависимостью от минеральных ресурсов. Наибольшие показатели потребления возобновляемой энергии зафиксированы в ДРК и Замбии, тогда как Ботсвана и Чили существенно отстают по данному параметру. Выявленные закономерности подчеркивают необходимость сбалансированного подхода между ресурсодобычей и целями устойчивого развития. Установлена положительная корреляция между минеральной рентой и скорректированными сбережениями при одновременной отрицательной связи с потреблением возобновляемой энергии. В то же время положительная взаимосвязь между развитием обрабатывающей промышленности и использованием возобновляемых источников энергии указывает на потенциальную совместимость промышленного роста с экологическими императивами при условии проведения целенаправленной политики. Проведенный анализ также позволил идентифицировать ключевые тенденции: несмотря на положительное влияние минеральных рент на формирование сбережений, они могут косвенно ограничивать инвестиции в возобновляемую энергетику. Уровень развития обрабатывающей промышленности существенно варьируется: Чили и ДРК обладают более диверсифицированной промышленной базой по сравнению с Ботсваной и Замбией. Полученные результаты обосновывают необходимость реализации стратегий, направленных на промышленную диверсификацию, устойчивое управление природными ресурсами и стимулирование инвестиций в возобновляемую энергетику. В частности, Чили и Замбии целесообразно реинвестировать доходы от минеральных ресурсов в развитие возобновляемой энергетики, Ботсване и Кении — активизировать энергетический переход, ДРК — модернизировать энергетическую инфраструктуру для обеспечения промышленного роста.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This study analyses the economic structures and resource dependencies of Botswana, Chile, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, and Zambia by examining key indicators, including adjusted savings from mineral extraction, manufacturing value added, renewable energy consumption, and mineral rents. Using World Bank data from 1994 to 2021, the study applies descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis to assess differences in resource dependence, industrialisation, and sustainability. The results show that Chile and Zambia have high mineral rents and adjusted savings, reflecting resource dependence, while Kenya and Botswana have minimal dependence on mineral wealth. The Democratic Republic of Congo leads in renewable energy consumption, followed by Zambia, whereas Botswana and Chile lag significantly. The findings highlight the need to balance resource extraction with sustainability, as mineral rents are positively correlated with adjusted savings but negatively correlated with renewable energy consumption. Furthermore, the positive relationship between manufacturing and renewable energy consumption suggests that industrial growth can be aligned with sustainability if appropriate policies are in place. The study also underscores key trends, revealing that whilst higher mineral rents support economic savings, they may discourage investment in renewable energy. Manufacturing value added varies widely across countries, with Chile and the Democratic Republic of Congo possessing stronger industrial bases than Botswana and Zambia. These findings underscore the need for policies that promote industrial diversification, sustainable resource management, and investment in renewable energy.
