Directions for Improving Credit Support for the Manufacturing Industry in the Union State of Belarus and Russia

Abstract
The article contains an analysis of the indicators of credit support for the real sector of the economy by the banking systems of Belarus and Russia (member countries of the Union State). Particular attention is focused on the social significance of banks’ participation in the process of lending to the manufacturing industry in the paradigm of internal state development. The relevance of the research areas is determined by the high potential for synergy between the state and the banking system in terms of creating conditions for investment activity and the availability of financial resources for enterprises with a long production cycle in the context of technological backwardness. The results of the study show the feasibility of further qualitative and quantitative development in this direction of both banking systems under the action of the mechanisms of the development state, as well as the use of the Belarusian experience in this area
