Under the influence of digital technologies, the human resource management system of an organization is undergoing transformation. The main task of digitalization in HR is the potential to increase business efficiency based on the realization of existing human potential. Successfully addressing this task is one of the main prerequisites for the active digitalization of this field. Today, digital technologies affect almost all elements of the human resource management system: recruitment and selection, evaluation and certification, development and motivation of personnel, which, in turn, sharply increases the demand for digital skills among HR managers and enterprise leaders. Modern enterprises, having assessed the advantages of digital technologies, often implement them, directing significant investments. At the same time, the presence of certain risks in their application necessitates a comprehensive analysis and a certain period of adaptation to new working conditions and organization of human resource management.
The competitiveness of modern companies directly depends on the extent of their digitalisation. Digital transformation has penetrated all spheres, industries, and business processes. Retail has historically been among the leading sectors in terms of innovation. Technologies are changing traditional inventory management and logistics processes. The implementation of such systems allows for more accurate forecasting of needs, optimization of supply chains, and minimization of losses. This significantly reduces costs and improves customer service levels. However, competition in the online space is becoming increasingly fierce, forcing companies to continuously adapt to market changes, track new trends and technologies, and require additional investments in developing IT infrastructure and training personnel. Retail companies have widely adopted artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, big data processing technologies, Wi-Fi analytics, the Internet of Things, as well as virtual and augmented reality technologies, etc. The aim of this article is to identify the main development directions for Russian retail companies against the backdrop of the active spread of modern technologies.

It analyses the application of digital technologies at all stages of human resource management: planning, recruitment, selection, adaptation, training, evaluation, and career management. Nowadays, digital technologies are an integral element of the management mechanism of a modern organisation, and one of the key tools for gaining competitive advantage. Rational implementation of tools in the human resource management system provides an opportunity to meet the company’s need for employees who possess the necessary knowledge and skills. Subsequently, it is these employees who provide the company with a sustainable competitive advantage in the market.
This article discusses one of the key long-term geopolitical trends of the 21st century: the de-dollarization process of the world economy. The US dollar has been the dominant global currency since the end of the Second World War, granting the USA significant geopolitical advantages over other countries. However, the rise of new centers of power in the past decades, such as China, India, and Brazil, alongside the expansion of influential organizations like BRICS+, is significantly changing the realities of the world economy. These new centers of power are increasingly dissatisfied with the dollar’s dominant position and are actively seeking to challenge its hegemony through various means. This article reviews the historical origins of dollar hegemony and explains how it poses a problem for many nations. Then, it aims to analyze the extent of the ongoing process of de-dollarization, its manifestations, and future prospects for the decades to come.
This article examines how the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia’s economic ties have changed over time, with a particular emphasis on how those ties evolved from being mostly energy-based to becoming more diverse. The goal is to examine the forces behind this change, the major industries affected, and the larger implications for both economies. The article is divided into sections that provide background information on trade history and then analyse trade dynamics, including import and export patterns, and finally reexport activity. The article finds that non-oil trade between the UAE and Russia grew by 33.2% in the recent years, with Russia becoming a significant supplier of precious metals and machinery to the UAE. At the same time, the UAE has expanded its exports to Russia of non-oil goods, especially high-tech items. Based on their distinct economic advantages, both nations have successfully managed to address competitive challenges, leading to a strong and growing bilateral trade relationship.

It also discusses strategic approaches for businesses seeking to navigate these complex markets, emphasizing the necessity of thorough market analysis and cultural adaptability, as well the cooperation with local partners. By providing a detailed exploration of these elements, the article offers practical guidance for companies aiming to establish or expand their presence in Eurasia, ultimately contributing to more informed and effective business decisions in the region.
